Wherever you are in the world over the break, you are encouraged to take some photos and then enter one photo in the competition. Rules: -No bikes -Helmets must be worn -Use wheels safely -Have fun The students worked diligently to research and present their findings during their personal inquiry time. The presentations keep getting better and more creative each time. We had students create slideshow presentations,books,Kahoot games, a guide to using sanitary napkins and tampons, 5RJ news about how a foetus develops to multiple births. The class continues to approach puberty and reproduction with maturity and a matter-of-fact attitude. Please encourage your child to share his/her learning with you as we wind up this unit. IST FAMILY BEACH CLEAN UP THIS WEEKEND!
On Sunday, 4th December 2016, IST families are invited to come and do their part at the first IST Coco Beach Clean Up, organised by the IST Elementary Roots and Shoots Club! Bring a hat, sunscreen, water and gardening gloves. See you on the beach 7-9am! (Opposite Salt Restaurant and Oyster Bay Shopping Centre.) Bags will be provided for collecting rubbish. All ages welcome! Please note - this is a family event. No supervision of children by the school will be provided. Today in the library we talked about What is fair to use? No jeans or jeggings. No sports jerseys. Students only need to come dressed up on the day of the concert.
